Welcome to Fancy Feet Dance Studio's Tiny Tots Program, where the littlest dancers twirl, tumble, and giggle with joy! Our classes are designed to be a magical first step into the world of dance, fostering a love for movement in a nurturing and playful environment.
What Will Your Tiny Tot Experience At Fancy Feet?
Playful and Imaginative Experiences
At Fancy Feet, we believe in igniting the creativity of our little dancers by incorporating props and using lots of imagery in our classes for Tiny Tots. From colorful ribbons, to shaker eggs, to floating scarves, these props serve as tools to inspire our students to explore their movement possibilities. Through imaginative storytelling and guided exercises, we encourage our young dancers and gymnasts to let their imaginations soar and express themselves through artistic movement.
Building Independence
At Fancy Feet, we believe and are dedicated to nurturing every child's exploration of movement, whether it's alongside an adult in our Mommy and Me classes or independently in Tiny Tutus and Tiny Tumblers. We are committed to fostering independence in your child as they learn to express themselves through the joys of dance and gymnastics.
Growing New Relationships
At Fancy Feet, we believe your Tiny Tot will have the opportunity to interact with other children in a safe and supportive environment, building new friendships and social skills through playful dance and gymnastics activities and group exercises.
Listening And Following Directions
At Fancy Feet, we believe that through fun and engaging dance and gymnastics games and activities, your child will learn to listen and follow instructions from the teacher, helping to develop focus and cognitive skills.
For our Tiny Tutus and Tumblers - We understand that this may be your child's first experience in a classroom setting and they may have difficulty transitioning and following directions at first. However, our trained instructors are here to support you and your child through their journey in gentle and caring ways.

Fancy Feet’s Mommy and Me classes have been such a joy for both of us! The classes are full of laughter and learning, and I love that I get to share these moments with my toddler. It’s been an amazing way to encourage their love for dance and for us to have fun together every week!

The Beginning
Enrolling your Tiny Tot in their first dance class is an exciting milestone, and at Fancy Feet, we’re here to make it special! Our Fall Recital Program offers a 10-month journey that begins in September and leads to our magical, annual recital in June. For 44 years, we’ve taken great pride in our recitals, where every child’s hard work and progress are celebrated in a truly memorable way.
Time To Dance!
Throughout the year, your Tiny Tot will be introduced to the joy of dance in a fun and nurturing environment. Each class is designed to build their coordination, confidence, and creativity through age-appropriate choreography that keeps them engaged and excited to learn. As the months progress, you'll see their emerging skills blossom, setting the stage for their big moment.
The Performance
By the time June arrives, your Tiny Tot will be ready to step into the spotlight, showcasing everything they’ve learned in a heartwarming performance that celebrates their growth. From those early, tentative steps to a confident presence on stage, your child will be a star and experience the thrill of performing in front of a supportive audience of family and friends!
Our Tiny Tots Class Offerings
Mommy & Me (18 months-2 years)
Our 45-minute Mommy & Me class blends dance and gymnastics fundamentals, perfectly tailored to your little one’s developmental stage. With engaging coordination and rhythm exercises, your child will giggle, twirl, and stomp to the beat! Each session is a magical adventure that fosters physical and cognitive growth, helping them develop balance, coordination, and a love for music and movement.
Tiny Tutus (3 years)
Our Tiny Tutus class is Twirl-Tastic! This 45 minute class provides the perfect platform for your child to explore their imagination and express themselves through movement. Your child will twirl, leap, and glide through a world of ballet-inspired moves, wearing their very own tiny tutu! They will feel like a graceful dancer while learning basic ballet steps, enhancing their coordination, and expressing their creativity.
Tiny Tumblers (3 years)
Our Tiny Tumblers class is Tumble-riffic! In this energetic and engaging 45 minute class, our Tiny Tumblers class brings out the little gymnast in every child. From somersaults to mini handstands, each session is packed with playful exercises that boost coordination, balance, and confidence. Your child will love tumbling with new friends, discovering their physical abilities, and experiencing the thrill of gymnastics.
